It was developed thousands of years ago in India and based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. In a busy, stressful and toxic world, our physical and mental systems accumulate toxins causing deterioration in bodily functioning, which leads to various illnesses.

BODY TYPES Ayurveda describes three fundamental energies that control our inner and outer environments: movement, transformation, and structure. Every person is made of a combination of five basic elements found in the universe: Air, Ether, Fire, Water & Earth. These elements combine in the human body to form three life forces or energies, called doshas. Everyone have a unique mix of the three doshas. One dosha is usually more dominant in our body and define our nature we born with (Prakruti). They are known in the Sanskrit language as Vata (Air+Ether), Pitta (Fire+Water), and Kapha (Earth+Water), these primary forces are responsible for the characteristics of our mind and body.   vata-pitta--kapha

AYURVEDA TREATMENTS Treatments are depending your primary dosha and the balance between the doshas in the body. Ayurveda aims to balance the body and find out what causing the imbalance. Your current state (called Vrikruti) of the body is showing our imbalances and with diet, change of lifestyle and ayurvedic treatments we are able to return the body to the state of balance and well being.
