14 DAYS YOGA RETREAT WITH AYURVEDIC TREATMENTS

Rishikesh is situated in the heart of North-India, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. It is known as a Yoga heaven as there are many renowned Meditation and Yoga Ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) and Holistic centers in the city. The city itself is vivid, the surrounding forest and mountains are truly breathtaking.

Harmonizing and strengthening your body this program includes Hatha yoga practice (postures) and you will learn Pranayama (breathing techniques), Meditation and Mantra chanting and therapeutic cleansing treatment called Panchakarma (five actions).It is a  rejuvenating program for the body, mind & consciousness. It is known for its beneficial effects on overall health, wellness and self-healing. Series of these treatments cleanse the body’s deep tissues of toxins, open the subtle channels, bring life-enhancing energy thereby increasing vitality, inner peace and well-being.

All treatments will be done at a well known Ayurvedic and Yoga Center which runs by a respected doctor and his wife in Rishikesh, India. All trips will be done by local English speaking guides.

What is included in the price?
– Ayurvedic consultation, Dietary advice
– All suggested treatments and herbal medicines recommended by the practitioner with daily massage therapy (full body and facial) 1.5 hours (10 sessions)
– Daily Yoga session  (except Sunday)
– Daily Pranayama or Meditaton and Mantra chanting classes (except Sunday)
–  1 x Ayurvedic class – learn about the basics of Ayurveda
– Accommodation (comfortable, simple Hotel room with ensuite bathroom)
– Full board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner – delicious Indian vegetarian meals. (Please note non-vegetarian food in not allowed in the centre)
– 1 x half day guided tour in Rishikesh
– 1 x full day guided trip in the area (TBC – depending on season)
– Airport pickup and drop off from Dehradun airport (30-40 min to Rishikesh)
